Creating, producing, directing, editing, designing, imagining, building, collaborating, and contributing…
I'm actively involved in the process of communicating stories and brand messages that I'm passionate about through multiple forms of digital media.
We have all-encompassing apps for keeping up with friends and colleagues, news and nonsense, blogs, photos, restaurants and every random thought that pops into Justin Bieber’s head. There’s a one-stop shop for searching and commenting on everything imaginable, except the happenings that define our daily lives and become our most indelible memories: events.
Launched on March 1st, 2013 in the App Store, Tabeso is annihilating that void with free, intuitive tools for knowing and sharing what’s up in the places we travel and call home. Download the app, create a profile and start discovering, whether you enter a range of dates or miles from a location, or names of favorite artists and venues. Tabeso helps you follow it all with a mobile interface of event data and a social layer for interacting with that data in new ways.
Tabeso enables you to follow people, places and organizations—even your family—because birthdays and book clubs matter almost as much as that dream pilgrimage to the Super Bowl. The activity stream filters to fit your needs, and Facebook connect capabilities let you share what you’re into. Tabeso’s novel “Tab” feature gives options to attend, share, calendar log or comment on must-do events, and it lets event organizers know you’re interested, which could lead to exclusive offers and perks. You can even buy tickets on Tabeso. It’s a handheld antidote to boredom and a guarantee, as Herrera says, that “date night will never suck again.”

As for me, I direct and design the brands visual & marketing assets, work closely with the in-house development team on the design of the user interface/experience of the app, and help implement the business development teams mission through communication design as well.
Bringing together the elements to communicate & create compelling stories & opportunities...

Everyone inside Company Wake, Inc was involved on the ground floor of this industry for over a decade participating, pushing, promoting, marketing, selling, changing, living, filming, editing, stressing, delivering, questioning, growing, imagining, engineering, designing, progressing, and innovating.
We designed / manufactured:
- Wakeboards (Made in the USA)
- Wakeskates (Made in the USA)
- Wakeboard Bindings
- Ropes / Handles
- Luggage / Bags
- Life Vests
- Apparel
My normal wake film projects somewhat went on hold while we developed and grew these brands and their product offerings, however my capacity to manage, direct, and adapt on a much much larger scale grew considerably during this time, and on multiple levels.
I am extremely proud of team and crew we were able to pull together during our time, because the work that was produced and the magic that was felt by all of us together was second to none. I wouldn't trade this time and experience for anything. #Grateful.
*Company Wakeboards is no longer operational due to conditions outside of our control, however Remote Wakeskates is still operating now under the current direction of Silas Thurman and Ben Horan. (remotewakeskates.com)
Directed, filmed, and edited Oakley's wake team movie project under the executive direction of Matty Swanson, in cooperation with Chase Heavener of Fiction creative for all of the motion graphics and design elements.

*I was given many opportunities to take action sports film production to the next level during my time with Liquid Force, and was fortunate enough to win multiple "video of the year" awards for our efforts on some of these projects inside and outside of the wake industry. (WBM/Alliance/Xdance) Don Wallace was a key element in going to bat for me during this time.
**Liquid Force Films is now under the direction of Collin Harrington.

Was the Co-Director with Tim Irwin on my first complete wakeboard film / documentary project titled "Project Watson". We filmed and edited this project under the already existing film company "Dog On a Bike Films" owned by Steve Olpin and his other partners at the time.
This film was about the talented and up and coming wakeboarder Shawn Watson, and ended up becoming what became my foundation of friendships and relationships in the wake industry. Shawn and I are still good friends to this day, and am grateful for his willingness to let us roll the dice with him the way that we did back then.
*Was a car lot attendant at Ken Garff Porche / Audi in Provo, Utah during this time to help pay the bills.
Helped shoot for a locally blended skate / wake project with Las Vegas friend Lance Gilman titled "Cactus Juice". This was my first taste of shooting out in the field, but had no budget, and shot the entire thing on borrowed equipment start to finish. It wasn't the best case situation for any of us, but it helped me personally gain a better idea of what it would take to eventually get more involved in this process, big picture.
*Held multiple restaurant and retail related jobs fresh out of High School during this time to help me get to whatever was coming next...
The Mother of our children, and my much better other half. An absolute stunner. This woman has always put myself, our children, and everyone else first. She has been through many challenges in her life, some of which I am responsible for, yet somehow navigates these experiences and converts them into sources of energy and direction for myself and our family. She keeps us strong, clear, and focused. I’m not quite sure how she does it, but to look into her eyes is to witness real beauty, intuition, and selflessness. I love you Mel. We ALL love you. Forever. #HappyMothersDay
A master of color / texture / visuals. Amazing work @cbergquist! (Tycho “Ascension” Music Video)
